Position: Operations Manager

History and Experience: Johnson was born in Franschhoek and lived his whole life in the wine valley and worked in various industries, meeting people and gained expert knowledge on the attractions and history this historical town has to offer visitors. He is always available and finding ways to achieve in giving our guests an unforgettable holiday experience. Serving the local community, building new relationships and relieving poverty in the region, has always been one of his main aims as a Pastor.

David Molorane

Position: Tour Guide

History and Experience: David was born in the Freestate’s capital of Bloemfontein and arrived in Cape Town in 2002. He worked in various industries such as construction and realized that he needed to extend his people’s skills and started working in the South African hospitality and tourism industry. David is a very friendly and passionate tour guide and will always put the safety and comfort of his guests as top priority.

Lowie Gelantd

Position: Driver

History and Experience: Lowie is no stranger to the Cape wine valley as he was born in Franschhoek and lived his whole life in this popular tourist destination. Despite from only been working for 2 years in tourism industry, Lowie knows the Franschhoek valley like the palm of his hand and will point out any attraction or activity at any given time. He is a very reliable driver and enjoys chauffeur driving in particular.

Roger Hem

Position: Transport Assistant and Guide

History and Experience: Roger was born in Xhosa district of the Eastern Cape in a small town called Willowvalle and decided that Franschhoek will fulfill his dreams in working in the hospitality and tourism industry. Roger is one of our preferred drivers from our guests and has been working for Winelands Experience for a number of years, building excellent customer relations and ensuring repeat visitors through the wine valley.
